INTERIOR DESIGNER (FULL-TIME)

Liqui Group are hiring an interior designer to join our team in Sussex. 

Job title: Interior Designer (full-time)

Place of work: You will be working from our studio in the heart of the Sussex countryside.

We are an award-winning, full service, design practice founded on innovative thinking and a multi-disciplinary approach. This is combined with a commitment to design excellences, sustainability and technical understanding informed by our in-house manufacturing capabilities. Liqui Group works in the fields of commercial interior design, together with contract furniture and lighting design. Working in multiple sectors we offer a range of services including office, restaurant, coffee shop, retail and exhibition design.

The role

We are a friendly, hardworking team and we are devoted to what we do. We’re looking for an interior designer who will share our drive to create imaginative, detail focused commercial interiors. You will be familiar with the interior design process from design development, materials research and selection, through to procurement, production and fit-out. You will need to be Sussex-based, or live within an hours commute of the studio. It’s a full time position and working from the studio five days a week is key, as collaboration with the rest of the team is fundamental to Liqui’s design ethos. You will be confident, friendly and a self-starter. It is vital that you share the rest of our teams drive to always improve, learn new skills and grow.

Key skills/responsibilities

-Minimum two years experience in commercial interior design.

-Assist the team with design stages including concept development, conceptual research, visualisations and presentations.

-Excellent in SketchUp and AutoCAD.

-Proficient in Photoshop and InDesign.

-Excellent knowledge of design detailing and specifications.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

-Well organised with excellent attention to detail.

-Assist the team with research and sourcing: references, materials, finishes and fabrics.

-Attend site visits when required.

-Full driving licence with own vehicle.

-Proficient in Windows.
