NINE RESTAURANT
THE PROJECT

With Nine, the objective was to create an opulent bar and eatery with an interior that compliments the high-end restaurant branding with its penthouse location and top quality service. We worked closely with our sister company Crate47 who focused on the restaurant brand identity as well as all aspects of print design while Liqui took care of the restaurant interior design together with all furniture and light fittings.

Nine is a conceptual restaurant that Liqui was approached to create in the heart of London’s financial district, high up in the clouds of one of the city’s many skyscrapers. Though this particular branded restaurant was never created in the flesh we are still proud of the design of this well-considered interior with its shimmering bronze bar-front featuring a repeating geometric pattern and indulgent black walnut surfaces – not to mention the stunning skyline views.

As always Liqui’s fit-out team are on hand, able to handle the installation and manufacture of the bespoke bar and cocktail prep area. With Crate47 providing all the branding, logo design, stationary and web presence. All this comes together to provide a unique turnkey service that we at Liqui and our sister company Crate47 pride ourselves in.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The Bar was designed to be a focal piece. Upon entering the restaurant the tone is set with a beautifully patinated bronze finish to the geometric pattern of the bar-front topped off with a lavish stretch of black walnut. This tone is carried through the interior featuring current and classic designer pieces of furniture. All carefully created and fitted by Liqui’s team of specialists.

Alongside Liqui Crate47 managed the branding and graphic design work for the project. This included menus, logo, colour ways and brand guidelines.

The brand needed to fit with a high-end dining experience. Crate achieved this by fashioning the colour pallet from an understated stone blue colour topped with a burnished gold for the font and highlights. The font used is a classic serif style to add that extra layer of sophistication. The icing on the cake is a subtle nine-sided logo design that is used across the branded material to make ‘Nine’ an instantly recognisable establishment.
