The fact that The Wellhead had formerly been the water source for an old brewery had a strong influence on the branding undertaken by our creative agency Crate47. Victorian style lettering was employed to create a traditional looking logo design and stand alone roundel marque which were complemented by a gold and dark green colourway. Liqui used the brand elements to great effect both on the interior and exterior of the building with the full written logo (formed of free-standing metal letters) being mounted on the exposed brickwork in key positions. In addition, we designed the outside wall of the deck to have a back-lit circular marque cut out of the corten steel which has an oxidised surface giving it a rusted appearance – harking back to the building’s industrial past. Having Liqui and Crate47 working closely together on the brand and interior of a project means that our clients get a fully integrated service and a harmonious branded environment.
